Around The Water

A few more shots from our trip to Beaufort over Thanksgiving.  The top photo is at Gray's Hill Landing on the Whale Branch river.  The other two photos are from the Marsh Boardwalk on Hunting Island.

Gorgeous shots!! What kind of lens did you use? Did you use any filters? I have a LOT to learn!!

Thanks Sweet Run. The top photo of these three was taken with a Canon 24-105mm f/4 zoom. The other two were with a Canon 17-40mm f/4 zoom.

I almost always use a polarizing filter outside. In my opinion they're essential but there are times when you don't need one.

The tree and road picture was also taken with the 24-105.

Sometimes I'll put the kind of lens I use in the "labels" at the bottom of the post.

Also, I usually shoot "raw", so Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop play a big part in the look of the final image. I'll post a before and after shot of the middle photo of this post so you can see the difference. Thanks again.
