Handheld HDR image...

...of a recently finished up mountaintop removal coal mine near Mt. Olive in Fayette county.  I wish I would've had my tripod so I could have done an HDR panorama, but I had taken my daughter for a ride on our cousins four wheeler and didn't think about taking it.  Next time we go up there I'll have to try to get another shot.

WV keeps the lights on for the United States.

Nice Shot. Not to far from my old stomping grounds. Then again, not to far from your's either.

Wow, this is VERY nice. I love those colors and it has an almost 3D look - especially the clouds

Thanks Joel and Floyd. I'm gonna try to get a fall color shot from there.

Joel, just a couple ridges behind me, the WV State Prison was built on another mountain top mine site.

Floyd, I used to ride my mtn. bike from Brownsville, up Big Creek and over the mountain to Kim's aunt's house on the road just past the prison.
