Here's a few from the winter storm we had on Monday.

What A Difference...

...a day makes.  The top photo is from Sunday afternoon.  It was cold but sunny.  The temperature was about the same today as yesterday, around 15 degrees F.

We had a couple of extra guys on shift yesterday because of the big snow we got Sunday night and Monday.   From left to right is Luke, Matt, me, Mike, John, Eric and Rex. Mike was getting off shift from the day before and hung around to help is shovel the pad off.  Also, this is my first post from an iPhone.

It felt good to get outside and get some fresh air today after being stuck inside since last Thursday evening with the flu.  It was pretty cold, about 17 degrees, but it didn't feel too bad if the wind wasn't blowing.

Spoke Too Soon

I said in a previous post that, "winter didn't come to WV this year".  I spoke too soon.  It came last night for a small show before spring.

Spires

Probably just about every photographer in Charleston has made a photo similar to this one .  I've taken a bunch  myself.  It's just one of those scenes that never gets tired of getting it's picture taken.  :-)  I think this is my favorite of the ones I've taken.

The Mighty Kanawha...
