Capitol Christmas

Went to the Capitol this evening after we put some lights on our trees out in front of our house.  It was almost too cold, even for me, and I like the cold.  It was 22 degrees F with a 10 to 15 mph wind.

I wanted to see the Christmas Trees they got for the Capitol this year and see how they compared to our tree in the back yard.  This year was the second time that someone from the State has came and looked at our tree.  There's just no way they can get a truck big enough into our back yard to cut it and haul it to Charleston.  It's a shame too because ours is a lot bigger than the one they have on the north (back) side and just as tall but a lot more full than the one they have on the south (front) side.

The top picture is an HDR photo (3 different exposures) of the back side of the Capitol and the bottom is a single image of the front.  I can't decide which one I like better.
