2nd Digital
I was looking through some stuff today and found some pictures I made with my second digital camera. It was a Nikon Coolpix 990. I think it was a 3.3 megapixel camera. I took both of these on the porch of the log house that I grew up in. My grandmother still lived there when I made these pictures. Her dad built the house in the 1930's and it's still in the family today. My first cousin bought it when my grandmother had to move in with my mom.

Second Thanksgiving
Man, we had another big Thanksgiving dinner at my mom's today since I had to work at the fire station on Thursday. We had a big dinner that day that was almost beyond compare.
Today was also a good photographic day with a couple of interesting subjects.
The top picture is a tiny cream pitcher that I can't decide whether it's Humpty Dumpty or George Washington. The second interesting one was the frozen "muffin tops" at Kroger. If I have many more Thanksgiving dinners I'll have four muffin tops instead of just one. The others are just regular stuff I take all the time like rail car graffiti, turkeys and Thanksgiving tables.

Lunch
I was reading another photographers blog today and he was talking about how he likes the photos he takes in New York City to be Black and White. I've got a bunch of NYC pics so I started looking through some that I had already processed in color, but would look good in B&W. This is one of my favorites. I don't know why the lady on the left is covering her face. The food from those carts is really good.

Silent Night
My friend Matt is making a Christmas CD and had asked a bunch of friends and family to come sing on it, so Molly and I went to sing our part today. I can't sing worth a hoot, but we had fun. We're all singing Silent Night. He's combining all the individual tracks into a choir. It sounds really good. I can't wait 'til he gets it done.

Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum Color Series
A couple of my friends and I went back to take another tour of the old Weston State Hospital in Weston, WV today. When I got back I was talking with my step-dad. He asked what I had done today and when I told him where we had been, he said, "can you imagine the misery that went on in that place?"
The shots I took last week I posted all in b&w. I thought I'd do color this time.
