I'm posting this from my mom's hospital room. She's been here since Sunday. Thankfully it wasn't anything super serious, just waiting for a bunch of tests now. We're hopeful she'll be home for Thanksgiving.

I always wanted one of these.

This was in a friend of mine's basement when they bought their house. I said, "man, look at that thing!". He asked me if I wanted it and I said, "heck yeah". I hung it on my wood shed for now. I'm workin' on it makin' it's way in the house.

Twilight Riverfront

I don't think I've ever posted this shot before. The Charleston Camera Club had a showing at the Art Emporium in Charleston and this is the photo I chose to display. I made this photo in the spring of '06. I waited and waited for the perfect evening and I also had to wait for Chase to fix one of the lights on the bank. I have won a couple contests with this shot and was fortunate enough to sell it at the Art Emporium. It's pretty cool that this shot has made me several hundred bucks for just a little bit of work. The print I sold was 36" x 11". Click for a better view.

My new favorite song. My wife and I have liked Cyndi Lauper since we were kids. This is her on The Late Show with David Letterman Monday night. Crank it up!!!
