Kids and Bubbles
My wife, a 44 year old, 23 year veteran police lieutenant, still loves to blow bubbles. We were on our way up to the greenhouse to get a bag-o-dirt and some tomato plants and she gets out her stash of bubbles. They were goin' everywhere, in the van, on the house, in the street, on the cats and all over the yard. She had our daughter lay down in 'em so I could get a couple of photos of her. It turned out pretty good. Good idea Kim!

Saint Paul's Chapel
I'm still finding pictures from New York to post. Here are a couple from St. Paul's Chapel. It's right across the street form the World trade Center. Here's a quote from their web site.
"After the attack on September 11, 2001, which led to the collapse of the twin towers of the World Trade Center, St. Paul's Chapel served as a place of rest and refuge for recovery workers at the WTC site.
For eight months, hundreds of volunteers worked 12 hour shifts around the clock, serving meals, making beds, counseling and praying with fire fighters, construction workers, police and others. Massage therapists, chiropractors, podiatrists and musicians also tended to their needs."
There are probably thousands of fire, police and military patches from all over the world on a display in the chapel.

Marvin
Name plate on the vault door of the Bank of Saint Albans on the corner of Main St and 2nd St. The building now houses Vision Architects and Pathway to Health. I had to turn this one into a B&W because I had a custom white balance set for outside and forgot to change it back to auto.

Coal Car Graffiti
There's been a coal train sitting on a siding in Saint Albans for a couple of days. I was driving by and noticed several cars with graffiti on them. You don't see a lot of coal cars with graffiti.

Coal Car
3 shot panorama. Click the photo for a better view. The panorama software sometimes gives the photo a bowed look, especially when you're close to the subject. I think it looks cool.
