Three Line Decontamination Shelter

On Monday we trained on setting up a 3 line decon shelter properly and quickly. The decon shelter is used when large numbers of people are contaminated with a hazardous material and we need to get it off of them as fast and as safely possible.

Locks of Love

My daughter got her hair cut today and is donating it to the Locks of Love organization. She had talked about it for a long time, but was kind of nervous. She'd had her hair long for such a long time she didn't know if she'd like it short. She really likes her new hair cut and was glad she was able to help out such a worthy cause.

The Wilds

We went to The Wilds in south eastern Ohio on Tuesday. The Wilds is located on 10,000 acres of reclaimed surface coal mine land in a very remote part of Ohio. We had a great time and got to see a lot of rare and endangered animals.

High Dynamic Range

I finally broke down and bought some HDR software. I have had the trial version of Photomatix Pro for a while and liked the results I got with it, so I bit the bullet. We went to Ohio for a few days this week visiting family and I went out a couple of days to take some pictures. Here are a few I ran through the software.
