Praying Mantis
I didn't notice the praying mantis 'til I'd taken a few pictures because it was so small. It was only about 3/4 inches long.

Monday Morning
Both of these photos were made at the Charleston Civic Center. I had to run a couple of errands near there this morning and both of them just seemed to jump out at me, especially the "A".

Sunday Evening Geese
I made this photo from the boat ramp on Main Ave. in Nitro. I wish the power lines didn't cross the river right there, but it's still a nice place to go watch the sunset.

Ritz Theatre Brunswick, Georgia
I like old signs and this is one of the coolest I've seen. I've got several photos of it before and after it was restored. This is from a couple of weeks ago. Check out this video of the relighting ceremony. It's a little long, but the first part, where they are putting it back on the building is interesting and the lighting is at the 12:15 mark.

Hanna Park, Jacksonville, FL
This was another gray, cloudy afternoon that didn't have a lot of color to begin with, so I converted it to black and white. I wish I had gotten a little closer to the fisherman.

Jekyll Island Clouds
A storm moved in on us while we were at the beach the other day. We were playing a very competitive game of bocce, so I was taking pictures while waiting my turn. The sun was blocked by the clouds and the air was so full of humidity that the colors of the beach and sky were dull and blah to the naked eye, and especially to the camera. I think the black and white conversion makes it all work out.
