After we left WVU we stopped at Weston to get something to eat. After we ate we drove around looking for the old Weston State Hospital, which is now a museum and tourist attraction. We didn't plan on taking a tour but we lucked out and got in the last 45 minute 1st floor tour of the day. Pretty interesting stuff.
I shot all these photos in color but got to messing with them and thought they looked better in black and white. They fit the mood better.

We were discussing taking the ghost hunting tour up there, but I'm not convinced I want to. Your pics taken in daylight seem spooky to me. I can't imagine being there in the dark, in the middle of the night. What say you?
I think it sounds interesting, just as long as your flashlight doesn't go out. If that happened I think I'd just go get in a corner somewhere 'til morning.
I'll do it if you guys do.
Well, this is Anitra. Lance showed me the pictures. I am NOT interested in doing the night tour... or day tour for that matter.
Oh, come on, it would be fun. As long as we had some garlic around our necks.
if u go or go again take the full tour it is all four floors of the main bulding the building where the morgue was at and where theydid many other things they show u where the tuberculousis ward is the greeen house and other places around its a awsome tour during day im hoping to go back for a night time tour
Yeah, I've been back two more times since this one. I took a friend and we did the full tour, then I went back in the spring and did the photo tour. I was by myself the whole whole time during that one. People that did the photo tour pretty much had free reign of all the buildings. Even tough it was daytime there were some places that were pretty dark and I was lookin' over my shoulder.
