Bruce
Bruce Harrold has been a fixture around the Saint Albans Fire Department way longer than I have. He grew up near the fire station on Walnut St. and now lives downtown near station 1.

There was a little...
...bit of color left in the mountains today. I got these shots at the Woodbine picnic area on the Cranberry river. That top picture is 6 different exposures that were blended together with Photomatix Pro to make a High Dynamic Range photo.
Summit Lake
Went to Cranberry today to try to catch the last of the colors. I walked around Summit Lake and saw a big golden trout just hangin' out on the bottom. It wasn't around where any fishermen were but when it saw me walkin' around it took off. It looked like a pretty good size, maybe a foot.
Both of these pictures are panoramas, so click if you want a better view.

Imitation...
I took this photo from the parking garage across the street from the library. I got the idea from Rick Lee. Mine was taken from a higher floor and a different angle. I think I like his better. I'm gonna try to get a shot of this scene this winter with snow covered streets and sidewalks. That would be cool;-)

King's Island
We didn't get to go to King's Island this summer, so I told my daughter we'd go the first weekend in October. We were talking about going when we were with our friends Frank & Debbie one evening and they said they'd like to go too. So we loaded up Friday and went to Cincinnati. We went to see the Reds that evening, then King's Island today. We rode a bunch of coasters. Here's my list in order of favorites. The Diamond Back (the new coaster at KI) was awesome! We rode it twice. 230 feet tall, 80 mph, a mile long, 10 hills and Smooooth! Here's the rest, Firehawk, Delirium, Drop Zone, Face Off, Racer, Top Gun, Tomb Raider, Adventure Express and Molly and Esther rode the Slingshot. It was a great day, just a little cool but that's better than 90 any day.
